About Transconomy
Purpose-Built for Modern Infrastructure Challenges
Transconomy is a transportation intelligence platform delivering advanced, AI-powered solutions for roadway asset management. Our services cater to a wide range of clients, from municipal governments and state Departments of Transportation (DOTs) to private infrastructure firms seeking scalable and accurate methods for asset inventory, condition assessment, and decision support. We specialize in building tools that automate the collection, extraction, and analysis of roadway data.
Transconomy was established to address a growing need in the transportation sector: modern, data-driven methods to manage roadway infrastructure more effectively. What began as an initiative under iENGINEERING Corporation has evolved into a focused platform that leverages artificial intelligence, computer vision, and geospatial analytics to transform how roadway assets are managed. Our capabilities have expanded to support nationwide networks, PASER and PCI condition ratings, and seamless GIS integration.
Vision Zero
Transconomy is committed to reducing traffic-related fatalities and serious injuries by transforming how roadway assets are monitored, maintained, and improved. Through AI-driven insights, scalable data collection, and condition-based decision-making, we help agencies build safer streets, optimize investments, and advance targets in road safety, sustainable cities, and resilient infrastructure.

A Smarter, Faster Way to Manage Roadways
Transconomy revolutionizes roadway asset management by replacing outdated, costly, and error-prone methods with a smarter, AI-driven approach. Using geo-referenced imagery collected via vehicles, drones, or aircraft, Transconomy automatically extracts roadway assets such as traffic signs, signals, guardrails, and pavement markings based on standards like the MUTCD. It also supports condition assessments using PASER and PCI systems, giving agencies flexibility in aligning with their preferred evaluation methodologies.
